The fjord | Bathing and boat bridge at Byaasgaard
The fjord at Byaasgaard in North Zealand probably has the longest boat & bathing bridge in Roskilde Fjord. It is 245 meters long!
Water is one of the best things that children know of. At Byaasgaard you will find a fantastic child-friendly swimming bridge. On the bridge you will find several platforms to swim from.
There is also space here to sit and lie in the grass, while the children catch crabs in the shallow water.
The fjord is very shallow far out, so it is some of the safest bathing water in Denmark
Badebro og krabbefiskeri
The water in Roskilde Fjord is clean and clear.
About at the middle of the bridge there is a bathing platform with a slide, perfect for children. Depending on the ebb and flow, there is about 50 cm of water, so the very little ones can also bathe here.
The bridge is the perfect place to fish for crabs and shrimps. With a bamboo pole, string - and there are really good chances of getting something in the net!
We have crab fishing rods - in sets - in The Farm Shop
At the end of the bridge there is a floating platform that can be used if you want to swim where it is a little deeper, or when you need to get people off or on the boat.

Rent a mooring - season
Everyone has the opportunity to rent a place by the bridge, for an entire season.
The bridge stands throughout the summer, from early April to mid-September.
Part of having your boat by the bridge is that you help setting up the bridge and taking it down again, and the community around the bridge means that you can have your boat lying on land or in the water all year round.
